Agree with your view that this is worth going through. Not only is it comprehensive, but it touches on key topics and eruditely. Thanks for sharing.

Am hoping that social contributions and payrolls tax reforms indeed succeed. Despite my still limited understanding of the Chinese socio-political/economic system, those truly seem crucial to me, at this point in time.

More social justice would do wonders in unifying your country's people, which I believe is critical in this point in time when fascism is again on the rise, and with guns pointed as China as the new Bolsheviks which Hitler criticized so much/often - and that reform seems like the most immediate in helping advance that goal.

Looking forward to your 15th Five Year Plan coverage.

A little suggestion, to conclude: You and some of the other notable Zhongguóren substackers do a great job in providing english-language coverage of Chinese intellectual circles viewpoints. In my opinion it would be great to see some humble attempts at some synthesis; to generate some debates, so that we're not just endlessly consuming news material without reflecting and criticising it.
